    Fantastic kitchen appliance

    This product continues to amaze me because it works so well and provides so much versatility. It does everything it is supposed to do very well. The design is very smart. If the lid is not on property or if it is not seated well on the base, it will not run.. This protects the unit from damage. Also it is extremely easy to clean and nothing can leak out the bottom.

    I absolutely love this blender. Had an older version of this blender before and that lasted years. After that container cracked, I bought this without hesitation.Bought this in October, and the container has already cracked at the bottom by March. I thought this had thicker material than the one before so it’d last longer. But no, it’s already cracked. I’ll contact the support and see what they say.Feature wise, this blender is awesome. Blending is top notch, food processor is great. Carry on blending cups are a breeze fit in the go smoothies. Only wish the material lasted longer.Wife wanted to buy something cheaper, but I insisted that this is a great product. I’m gonna great ‘told-you-so’ for a long time now. Sigh!

    Broken out of the box, twice.

    We previously had a Ninja blender that bit the dust just before 2 years of ownership. The blending unit itself is still functional, however along the way jars have developed cracks and leak. We purchased this blender not once, but twice. Both times, the bottom of the main jar was cracked – did not even bother testing it cause it was obvious it would leak. The first time we had given the benefit of the doubt and replaced with Amazon, but the second we sent straight back for a refund. Ninja blenders in general seem to be low quality, and the one year warranty doesn’t even cover the jars. I do not recommend this product. I strongly recommend purchasing something more reliable. In the same price range that would be a Kitchenaid, but if you want to splurge get a Vitamix.

    Started off bad! Got better later

    – The big pitcher had a defect within 3 months of using. The lid doesn’t close anymore and hence the pitcher doesn’t work.- This pitcher has a crack at the bottom (5 months into the purchase)- The lid for the food processor jar has a defect now and it doesn’t close (5 months into the purchase).- The small jars have started looking really worn out in just 4 months of usage.Despite taking good care of all the parts, they aren’t performing for the price that I’ve paid on this product. I’d any day use a much cheaper version twice a year than use Ninja again. Not sure if this is an anomaly, but my experience with the product has been abysmal.I raised the complaint about the main pitcher to Shark Ninja a month ago, but there’s no sign of replacement pitcher till date on account of ‘stock not available’ – which I find particularly hard to believe given that stock is available in stores, and on Amazon.I’ll now be requesting for a full refund for this product.Update: didn’t receive a full refund but got a replacement part for the big pitcher and food processor after complaints and follow ups. They are performing well till even after more than a year!
